Woman Grandmaster Olga Gerasimovitch was a very strong junior chess player with a promising future. After earning the title of woman grandmaster at a young age, Olga, however, decided to switch to other intellectual pursuits. Now, Olga is one of the leading sport journalists in Belarus. Olga also continues to enjoy chess in her free time and occasionally plays in some women tournaments.
